The Guild Emblem
The guild emblem is a small portrait located left of the guild name. Some guilds get it early on; some guilds never get it at all. Why is it important, you say? The guild emblem acts as a way for people to remember the guild name more easily; it also makes that big ugly banner under your IGN look better. To get an emblem, bring 5 mil and talk to Lea. Once you pay her 5 million maple stroy mesos, a window will pop up with an emblem maker. The emblem maker will let you choose your very own emblem and emblem frame. The emblem frame. in the background of the guild emblem; you can select its color and shape. Once you finish choosing the frame, you can select your very own emblem picture. There 5 different types of pictures are: characters, animals, plants, patterns, and etc. There are thousands of possible combinations for emblems, so be creative!
Recruiting the Right People
A guild isn¡¯t a guild without good members! But how do you find guild members?
Recommended Guild Requirements
Though you can make your guild requirements anything you want, it¡¯ll probably be best to use at least SOME of these:
-be an active player (kick out inactive people)
-talk a lot
-be friendly
-no hackers/scammers/etc (hacker guilds don¡¯t look good)
-no ex-hackers (optional, but most successful guilds don¡¯t allow ex-hackers)
What NOT to do
Probably the worst way to recruit guild members is to invite any random guildless bozo into the guild. I¡¯ve learned from experience that 95% of all random people you invite will be mute, inactive players. Though the other 5% might actually be decent; they¡¯ll probably leave in disgust of all the mute, inactive players.
